Stay away from the scale!! It will never accurately reflect your success. Go by dress/ jacket size.
1 pound of fat takes up a lot more area than 1 pound of muscle. So if you wanted to lose 30 pounds, aim for 15 to 20 pounds of fat. You will look 30 lbs. lighter and will fit into clothes that would reflect a 30 lb weight loss!

Contraction Training is a form of resistance training we started a few years ago. Anyone can lift weights, but we teach you to contract the muscle that lifts the weight. I ate 1 lb of Prince pasta every single day of the year.All white flour, carbohydrates, everything Dr. Atkins said i couldn't eat. Yet, I lost 80 lbs. How? I stumbled upon the #1 secret in dieting –eat small meals frequently throughout the day, your metabolism will rev up and you will lose fat.
Your Metabolism is the rate at which you burn calories (lose weight)
Your body wants to be as efficient as possible and does not want to work any harder than it has to. If you are only eating 2 or 3 times a day, your body realizes it will be fed every 6 to 10 hours, so it would be a waste to keep the metabolism going since nothing is being fed to it, and if nothing is being fed to it, your metabolism basically "goes to sleep", conserving energy.
All of a sudden you begin to eat strict, exactly every 3 hours. Your body is now constantly expecting food therefore it is inefficient for your metabolism to slow down. Now you become a fat burning machine, even burning calories just sitting around watching t.v. Another benefit to keeping your metabolism burning "nonstop' is that, because you are eating small portions, your metabolism will rip right through those calories and metabolize any extra fat you may be carrying on your body.
Of course I have learned a lot since then and want to share and dispel all the myths surrounding exercise, diet, weight loss and weight gain. I've been in the fitness industry for over 20 years, working 12 to 14 hour days.I have seen it all! If there was a miracle cure, I would use it. The only cure is you!!. By making exercise a part of your life and having structure and discipline, the sky is the limit on what you will achieve!
